What to expect
Sessions are relaxed, a mixture of lifestyle and documentary photography, and generally go for about 60- 90 minutes.
That means, I will direct you to the best light, and will provide guidance to encourage the natural connection that I'm there to capture.
I offer newborn and family sessions. Newborn sessions are at the hospital or at home. Family sessions are outside on location or at home.
Once you have booked your session, I will send out a welcome guide which includes tips on what to wear. I will also e-mail a questionnaire so I can best tailor the session to your family. I will also provide a client prep guide closer to the day, which includes details about how to best get ready for the session.

FAQ
How do I book?
Easy! Fill out my contact form and I'll get back to you within 24 hours.
Where and when will the session be?
Newborn photos can either be at the hospital within 48 hours of birth, or at home. At home photos don't have to be within a certain time period. Each baby stage is great to capture.
Family photos can be outside on location, or at the family home. Golden hour is best for outside family photos, so we will schedule the shoot an hour or two before sunset.
Mornings generally work best for at home family photos when the kids are a bit more fresh.
When should I book?
The sooner the better to lock in your preferred dates! I take a limited amount of clients each month.
Do I need a spotless house for at home photos?
Absolutely not! For newborn photos, it's amazing what can be captured in one room close to a window.
For family photos, we can either embrace and capture the mess, or you can tidy rooms where you would like photos taken. And hiding mess behind the door and out the frame totally counts at the room being tidy.
What should I wear?
I'll give you some tips in the welcome guide, but the overarching theme is whatever you're comfortable in!
What if I'm too awkward?
Getting family photos taken can be weird. I get it. But I'll do my best to make the whole experience as relaxed and as comfortable as I can.
